The Intuitive Group's Training Process - Eliminate Doubt

“If we did all the things we are capable of doing we would literally astonish ourselves.” –Thomas Edison

Every-Accomplishment-Starts-With-The-Decision-To-Try-Intuitive-Group-Inc
At some point in time all of us have to go through a training process.  Sometimes it is for hobbies or fitness and sometimes it is for your career.  Regardless of what types of training you will go through, without it you would not be able to hold a job or complete a touchdown pass or a 5k marathon.

As vital as the training process can be it can also be a little on the difficult side.  Hopefully this blog will help you push through the rough spots not only in training but on your path to success.

Training always starts off pretty much the same way.  You are SUPER excited and feel like you are indestructible.  You can’t wait to get all the things you need and are eager to start learning new things.  Then you start the training process and after your first couple days of training the initial excitement wears off. Inevitably you will come across something that you have a hard time picking up and it takes you longer then you expected to move through the process.  This is the point when most start doubting themselves.  When you come to this point the last thing you need to make it through is negativity and self-doubt.

Previously we spoke about surrounding yourself with a support system; a team of people who will help get you through the more difficult times.  However, to become successful there are times you will need to push yourself forward.  The best tip in doing so is by saying YES and then moving forward! Do not allow doubt to overcome you.  When a task becomes difficult instead of complaining about all the reason you don’t think you can do something just say YES, yes I can figure this out and move forward! In the beginning of your training process your excitement motivated you because you were learning something new, now that you are in the middle or at the end of your training allow the idea of you achieving something new motivate you, and keep saying YES to accomplishing your goals.

Regardless of what you are setting out to do always allow yourself to make it through the training process.  It is the training process that is the most difficult when learning something new. If you will not allow yourself to finish you may be holding yourself back from accomplishing great things!

Eliminate doubt, “Just say YES, and move forward”!
“Studies indicate that the one quality all successful people have is persistence. They're willing to spend more time accomplishing a task and to persevere in the face of many difficult odds. There's a very positive relationship between people's ability to accomplish any task and the time they're willing to spend on it.”

The Intuitive Group Conquers Worst Enemy

Even the most successful people in this world have dealt with self-doubt. One of the differences between the successful and unsuccessful is their ability to see past the unrealistic ideas they have in their head. We can all be our own worst enemy at times; the best way to overcome this challenge is to learn to work with your “enemy”.

Below are a few helpful tips and quotes that will help you conquer self-doubt and bring you a stronger sense of determination:

1.

Recognize and acknowledge your doubt. They always say the first step is admitting! By ignoring self-doubt you are imposing limits on your abilities to do great things. Take your doubt head on and acknowledge that YOU are putting your own restrictions on your success. Blaming outside influences will only feed the negativity brewing in your mind about yourself.
“Success is a battle between you and yourself only” –Anonymous

2.

Analyze and plan. Once you have acknowledged your self-doubt take time to address why you have those doubts. When you do this your thoughts are more likely to be put into reality and logic will help you find a solution to overcoming your doubts. If you are able to identify the source, more often than not you will be able to move past whatever doubts may be in your mind and help you see that you’re better than your “enemy”!
“ If you hear a voice within you say ‘you can’t paint’ then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced” –Vincent Van Gogh

3.

View mistakes as a good thing. The reason why most of us have self-doubt to begin with is due to fear: fear of humiliation, fear of failure, fear of making a mistake. You must remove the idea that mistakes are bad and with that you will remove some of the fear of failing or being embarrassed. When you start having any limiting thoughts try and take a step back and think of the worst case scenarios; most of the time worst case really isn’t that bad in the grand scheme of things. You can choose to believe your doubts and hold yourself back due to a fear of making a mistake OR you can push any debilitating thoughts off to the side and take a chance on success. Remember no one is perfect.

“A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing” –George Bernard Shaw

4.

Have a support system. Handling self-doubt is a difficult task in itself, let alone if you are trying it alone. Make sure you have a good support team to lean on during the more difficult times. You need to have a group of close friends, family or co-workers you can trust and confide in. Having that solid group of people will be a great form of reassurance and boost of confidence you need for success.

Doubt is the father of invention” –Galileo

5.

Don’t look at it as a negative. Self-doubt can be a very negative thing if you let it. Allow the doubt to help you push forward. Take your self-doubt and turn it into a personal challenge, push yourself to prove yourself wrong! The best way to cope with self-doubt is recognizing the truth, and what better way to realize the truth but by conquering what you thought you couldn’t do. You can do anything you put your mind to, so stop putting your mind on the “can not’s” and start thinking “yes I can”.
“It’s not who you are that holds you back, it’s who you think you’re not” –Unknown

Intuitive Group Offers 15 Tips to Climb Stairway to Success

Intuitive Group 15 steps to becoming your own boss

Do you find yourself asking how do I get my boss's position?

Or I really want to be my own boss but how?

The following 15 tips can help you reach CEO status or president of your own company!

  1.     Work harder than everyone else.  Your boss did not get the position he/she has by blending in with the crowd; they worked harder than every one around them!  Remember your work is a reflection of you, so give it your all!
  2.      Know your responsibilities and complete them.  As a boss you must take care of things outside your realm of responsibilities.  If you are unable to complete your given responsibilities, how can you be trusted to run a company?
  3.      Complete even the smallest tasks.  The little things do not go unnoticed, and your attention to them will not either.  Something as small as filling the paper in the copier shows you are invested in the success of a company, and people will take notice.
  4.      Keep a clean and organized work space.  As an owner or boss of a company, things can become hectic very quickly and if you are not organized, things can get out of hand fast!  When you are viewed as a clean and organized person in the work place you are more likely to be trusted with more responsibilities.
  5.      Keep a positive attitude and emotions out of decisions. A negative attitude never found anyone success.  If you are going to run a successful business it is vital to deal with personal issues on personal time and business issues on business time.  Mixing the two can create bigger issues on both sides.
  6.      Be the first one in and the last one to leave. By coming in 15-20 minutes early and staying an extra few minutes to make sure everything for the day is complete shows that you are ready to work hard to accomplishing your goals, as well as helping the company accomplish theirs.  An added benefit to this is that if you are always planning to be early you will most likely never be late.
  7.      Have a great student mentality.  When you are learning and growing you are providing more opportunity for yourself.  You will walk into work more motivated because you know more about your surroundings.  This motivation can spread to others in the office and is a great way to show your boss you can lead a team of people to success.
  8.      Dress the part. If you want to be in your boss’s position, you must not only act the part but dress the part.  In any aspect of life image is important and is often the first impression you give someone.  If you had to choose a person to run your company you are more likely to choose the person in a nicely pressed suit and tie over the person whom does not look professional.
  9.      Have an informed opinion.  It is great to participate in meetings and provide feedback.  It shows your initiative and your ability to be solution oriented.
  10.   Always be prepared.  Showing up to work or a meeting without the knowledge or items needed is not something to impress your boss.  Coming in prepared shows you are able to take on more responsibilities and handle a higher position.
  11.   Take the initiative.  Don’t wait until someone asks you or tells you to do something.  Taking the initiative shows you are ready for more responsibilities and can handle the pressure of a higher position.
  12.   Fight inexperience with advice.  No one knows everything, and by reaching out to others to learn from their experience is a great way to build relationships and show you are CEO material.
  13.   Be a team player.  Boss’s look for team players, someone who is not just out for their own success.  A boss needs to care about the company they work for and the people working in the company. By being a team player you are showing you are capable of running a successful business.
  14.   Plan to “wing” the uncontrollables.   It is inevitable that your boss will provide you with a last minute task when the last thing you have is time, or a problem arises on a project you are working on that has a deadline that is quickly approaching.  How well you handle these uncontrollables can do one of two things; either show your boss you can handle more responsibilities or that you just are not ready to become the next promotion.
  15.   Follow through on what you say.  Don’t just talk the talk, but walk the walk!

Intuitive Group shares 10 Steps to Success

Intuitive Group Motivators for success

The Intuitive Group, Inc. understands that your goal in life is to be successful.  While that is a great goal it takes a lot of personal growth and development to reach that level of success.  Those with the highest levels of education and years of experience will struggle just as hard as a college dropout with limited experience.  The following is a list of 10 things I believe will help make just about any person who has a drive to be successful, find success!

Along with this list are quotes to help motivate you in the right direction.

1.     Step out of your comfort zone, AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!  There is so much to life to experience; the only thing that should matter is what you think of yourself.
“We cannot become what we want to be by remaining what we are” –Max DePree
2.     Don’t be afraid to make mistakes.  Some of the greatest success stories come from those who have made numerous mistakes.  Take every mistake as a lesson of what not to do the next time around.
“Success is 99 percent failure.” –Soichiro Honda
3.     Don’t feed into self-doubt.  Silence the voice of self-doubt by doing; remember actions are louder than words, and that pertains to you as well.
“A successful person is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks that other’s throw at him or her.” –David Brinkley
4.     Be happy.  Happiness is a choice, a choice that can change the outcome of everything in your life.
“Be happy with what you have and are, be generous with both, and you won’t have to hunt for happiness.” –William E. Gladstone
5.     Spend at least 1 hour a day growing and learning.  Take time to read a chapter a night or meet with the people whom are where you want to be.  When you are constantly learning you will never feel stuck or find yourself in a rut.
“All of the top achievers I know are lifelong learners…looking for new skills, insights, and ideas.  If they’re not learning, they’re not growing…not moving toward excellence.”  –Denis Waitley
6.     Finish what you start. Give yourself a sense of accomplishment; it is a great form of self-motivation.
“Winning isn’t always finishing first.  Sometimes winning is just finishing.” –Manuel Diotte
7.     Live fully in the present.   By living in the present you eliminate many of the distractions that may hold you back from your success, like the “what ifs” of the future and the “oh-no’s” of the past.
“You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment.  Fools stand on their island of opportunities and look toward another land.  There is no other land; there is no other life but this.” –Henry David Thoreau
8.     Never quit when you experience a setback. Quitting won’t get you to your goals so why even consider it?
“Winners never quit, and quitters never win.” –Vince Lombardi
9.     Set big goals.  You won’t know your limit unless you push yourself.  Find out your limits and set bigger goals for yourself.  What is the worst that can happen, you become successful?
“Shoot for the moon.  Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.” –Les Brown
10.  Stay positive.  By thinking more positively the setbacks you are bound to run into won’t seem as harsh and won’t cause as much stress, which in the end will help your success rate increase.
“I am still determined to be cheerful and happy, in whatever situation it may be; for I have also learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions, and not upon our circumstances.” –Martha Washington
