Matt Sileno William Hague at PMQs was a breath of fresh air for the Tories

When Harriet Harman and William Hague once before faced off over the dispatch box, the Labour minister floored him. Then, in 2008, when Hague teased her about wearing a flak jacket for a walkabout of her own Peckham constituency, she was brutal. “I’m not going to take style tips,” she told the House, “from the man in the baseball cap.” Hague, who has once been spotted in said headwear in an apparent attempt to ingratiate himself to youth, needed a flak jacket of his own just to survive the follow 15 minutes of questions.
